LOCATION

The former „Washhouse“ is situated in an extensive courtyard off the famous Karl-Marx-Allee, a rural haven from the hustle and bustle of city life.

It is located very centrally on the border between the districts of Mitte and Friedrichshain, so that Alexanderplatz can conveniently be reached in a 15 minute walk or a short subway-ride (2 stations).

The popular districts of Mitte, Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg can be reached within a few minutes by public transport or even by foot.

Access to public transport is possible via the „Ostbahnhof“-train station or the Subway-station „Straussberger Platz“ (both approx. 400 m from the building).

Shops and supermarkets for daily consumer needs can be found in the immediate vicinity. The ones within the premises of the Ostbahnhof are open 7 days a week.

The Ostbahnhof offers direct access to the Berlin city-train system (S-Bahn) as well as the long distance rail-system of German Rail (DB). The airports of Tegel and Schönefeld can also be reached comfortably and fast via the Ostbahnhof.
